Red Rose Alliance Secondary ITT students brought energy and enthusiasm to a recent Design & Technology Subject Studies Day, organised as part of the Red Rose training programme.
The day was all about collaboration, creativity and practical experience. Trainees worked side by side with pupils and experienced teachers, gaining valuable insight into how hands-on learning can inspire, motivate and connect.
The lively atmosphere reflected the Red Rose ethos of learning through doing — sharing ideas, supporting one another and engaging directly in classroom life. Through this experience, trainees strengthened their confidence, developed their teaching practice, and deepened their understanding of how active learning builds positive relationships.
It was a dynamic and inspiring day that showcased the commitment, curiosity and teamwork at the heart of the Red Rose Alliance.
