Teachers at Bishop Rawstorne have recently supported the national 'Get into Teaching' campaign. The music department talk about the fantastic side of teaching outside the classroom in a short youtube video produced in collaboration with the DfE. Those training with the Bishop Rawstorne School Direct programme get to see that teaching also offers up fantastic enrichment activities - whether that be trips abroad or camping, as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. In this short video our two music teachers, Ellen and Jonathan, talk about an upcoming trip to Rome with 60 children and the pleasure it will bring both the staff and pupils who get to visit iconic sites, such as the Vatican city.
